Manchester City's unbeaten start to the Premier League season came to an end last weekend after they were beaten 4-3 by Liverpool at Anfield. Their lead at the top of the league is now only 12 points.
Newcastle are unbeaten in four matches since losing 1-0 at home to City just after Christmas and Rafa Benitez's side are now three points clear of the bottom three. The Magpies have not fared well at the Etihad in recent years so expect a similar defensive tactic to the one used in the reverse fixture.
City have scored 22 goals in their last five home league matches against Newcastle, so expect Guardiola's men to get back to winning ways straight away here.
Southampton were denied a vital three points at Watford last time out as they threw away a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 at Vicarage Road. The south coast side have now failed to win any of their last 10 Premier League games and sit just one point above the relegation zone.
Tottenham have failed to win just two of their last eight Premier League games - a 4-1 loss at Manchester City and a 1-1 draw with West Ham. Spurs have won four of their last five visits to St. Mary's and should be confident of putting another victory on the board.
Both teams have netted in four of the last five meetings between these two sides on the south coast and that should be the case once more, with Spurs securing all the spoils here.
